One single on from her debut stunner 'Can I Be Close 2U' and there are still so many questions regarding the back history, identity and influences of New Zealand songstress Tsörf. She's played her cards close to her chest so far, not even revealing her face, and the mystery of it all only adds to the ethereal intrigue of her breathtaking soundscapes. Her latest offering, the sparse yet warm single 'Know the Light', is minimal R&B at its best with just a smattering of instrumentation against her gentle singing. It's all it needs though as anything further would simply be cluttered distraction. Glacial and as awe-inspiring as her home country, Tsörf brings us a taste of New Zealand. - SJ
